What is the localism bill and what does it mean for you?
We've all been speculating on the new legislation so this week's Q&A addresses what the reforms will mean for you. (December 15, 12pm - 3pm)
Still not clear about how these communities/neighbourhoods will be defined.....any ideas?
In the explanatory notes it says: 'empowers either a parish council or a neighbourhood forum (as "qualifying bodies") to initiate the process for making a neighbourhood development order.' (chap 3, schedule 9, 283)
How will this happen in practice?
How are these set up at the moment/are they official? I can only find unofficial ones.
What if there are overlaps?
